Nick attended Manchester Grammar School and gained an LL.B (Hons) at Preston Polytechnic. He joined Russell & Russell in 1986 specialising in criminal law and road traffic offences. Nick is a Duty Solicitor and Higher Court Advocate. He has the distinction of being one of very few solicitors to have appeared before the Court Of Appeal and before the most Senior Judge in the country, The Lord Chief Justice.
Away from work, Nick has a busy family life with his three children. He also enjoys travel and sport including football and skiing.
