Judith was raised and educated in Bolton. She completed a degree in Law and solicitors finals at Leeds Metropolitan University and then qualified as a solicitor in 1988. Joining Russell & Russell as an Assistant Solicitor in 1990, Judith was made a salaried Partner in 1991 and became a full equity Partner in 1998.
In 2001 Judith took over the development of the Probate and Elderly Client Department. She specialises in the administration of estates, Will writing, fixed protection of elderly clients and protection practice.
Judith is a Trustee for Bolton Hospice and active member of their fundraising team. She is a Trustee for a national charity called 'Children Today' which provides vital life changing equipment for children and young people with sickness and disabilities. She is Parish Counsellor for Westhoughton. Team captain for a local ladies netball team playing in the Bolton Ladies league. Judith has completed 5 charity treks in Nepal, Peru, America, France and Scotland, personally raising in excess of £20,000 for children's charities.
