From the 1st October all homes for sale will require an EPC. This includes those homes that have been on the market before the introduction of Home Information Packs (HIPs).
The Chancellor of the Exchequer has announced that from 3rd September he will introduce a temporary exemption ('holiday') from SDLT for acquisitions of residential property worth not more than 175,000 pounds.
